Park opens at 7:00am 365 days a year.
Closing time is 9:30pm through July 17; 9pm July 18-August 15; and 8:30 August 16-31.

Dogs are welcome at the Conservation Area but must be leashed at all times.

Portions of Fisherman's Cove Conservation Area are closed for a construction project (see details below) Please obey all posted closure notices. (updated 1/9/13)

(2/1/11) - Habitat Restoration Project underway at Fisherman's Cove: This project seeks to manage invasive, non-invasive or highly dominant species that displace native plant and animal species, degrade adjacent tidal wetlands and generally reduce natural diversity and wildlife habitats. It is anticipated that this project will be a multi-year project and will be evaluated annually for effectiveness.  

Fisherman's Cove Conservation Area, Manasquan

This 55-acre site, the last undeveloped tract on the Manasquan Inlet, is a great place to fish, walk on the beach, or go sunbathing. Dogs must be on leash at all times while at this park. The Park System provides an off-leash dog area at Thompson Park in Lincroft and at the Wolf Hill Recreation Area in Oceanport. The Activity Center hosts a variety of nature programs with limited street parking.

Please be aware NJ anglers age 16 and up are now required to register with the NJ Saltwater Angler Registry (for free) to fish in marine and fresh tidal waters of NJ. For more information regarding the registration, click here.

  • Garden State Parkway to Exit 98 to State Hwy 34 south to State Hwy 35 south. Before bridge, right onto Higgins Ave, Brielle then left onto Hwy 71 (Union Ave). Right onto Fisk Ave/Brielle Road, right onto 3rd Ave., conservation area on right.
