Experience some of the sights, sounds, and smells of history at Historic Walnford's annual sampler of historical activities. With harpsichord music in the front parlor, the blacksmith's shaping iron, the mill grinding corn, horse drawn wagon rides, woodworking, spinning, quill pen calligraphy, and games for all ages; the event promises to be fun for all ages:
Here's what is planned:
- Hands-on historical activities, crafts, games and exhibits
- Horse-drawn wagon rides from 1-4 p.m.
- 18th century music from 1-5 p.m.
- Spinning, woodworking and blacksmithing demonstrations
- Gristmill grinding corn
- 1773 Waln House open from cellar to attic
- Family fun with something for everyone!

Follow Rt. 537 west to Rt. 539. Turn right onto Rt. 539, travel north on Rt. 539 to Burlington Path Road and turn left. Turn right onto Holmes Mill Road and left on Walnford Road which leads directly into the park.
- From the east Via 195
Take Exit 11 (Imlaystown/Cox's Corner) and turn left onto Route 43 (Imlaystown/Hightstown Road). At the first intersection (less than 1 mile) turn right onto Route 526/Red Valley Road. At the first light, turn left onto Sharon Station Road and follow for approx 2 miles and turn right onto Route 539 North. Travel for only a short distance and turn left onto Holmes Mill Road. Make first right onto Walnford Road which leads directly into the park.

Follow I-195 to exit 8, Allentown, Rt. 524/539. Turn right and follow Rt. 539 through Allentown, turning left to separate from Rt. 524 in town. Follow 539 and turn right onto Holmes Mill Road, follow to right onto Walnford Road which leads directly into the park.
