Canoes will be available for visitors (age 3 and up, under 18 with adult) to enjoy a relaxing afternoon on the water.  All equipment provided; limited number of canoes available.  The cost is $15 per boat for 1-3 people for 2 hours.  Cash or check only. Manasquan Reservoir, Howell 

Sail with Us 
Sunday, July 7 & Saturday, August 3 at 10am, 11:30am & 1pm 
Drop-in for the opportunity to sail a 15’ American sailboat. The Park System will provide the captain, you provide the crew. Come out and see if sailing is for you. Limited number of boats; maximum three people per boat. The cost is $25 per boat.

Rent a Sailboat  
A limited number of 15’ American (2/3 people) and 12’ Laser Pico (single adult/1 child) sailboats available for rent at the Manasquan Reservoir. Renters must provide a Red Cross, US Sailing or Park System sailing card. Open to ages 8 and up, under 18 with adult. Please Note: Pre-registration is required at least 48 hours in advance. For availability or questions please call (732) 842-4000, ext. 4238. Fee: $50.00 per boat for 2 1/2 hours.

Rent a Rowboat or Kayak 
At the Manasquan Reservoir Visitor Center, park patrons ages 18 and older can rent rowboats (1-hr $12.15 or 4-hrs $34.35); electric motor powered rowboats (4-hrs $44.86); and kayaks (1-hr single person $14.02 or 1-hr double person $20.09). Cash or checks only. A $10.00 deposit is required for 1 hour rental; $20.00 deposit required for 4 hour rental. Motor boat rentals are available April 1st - October 31st and kayak rentals from May 4 - October 31st. (Prices do not include sales tax.)

Turkey Swamp Park, Freehold 

Rent a Kayak, Canoe or Paddleboat   
Boat rentals are available at Turkey Swamp Park weekends only from May 1 through June 16, daily through Labor Day, and weekends only again from Labor Day through Columbus Day. Boat rental hours are 10am-4:30pm.  The cost is $12.15 an hour. Each additional 15 minutes is $4.21. A refundable deposit of $10 is required for individual rental. Group rentals are available; deposit of $50 is required.  (Prices do not include sales tax.)
