Bluebells at Crosswicks Creek Park

Staff reports that the bluebells at Crosswicks Creek Park in Upper Freehold are beginning to bloom.

Park Naturalists report the two eagle chicks in the nest at the Manasquan Reservoir are doing well and growing rapidly. Pretty soon, they will be taking their first flights! While the leaves remain off of the trees, the eagle parents and chicks can be viewed remotely on a TV screen set up in the Manasquan Reservoir Environmental Center, located on Georgia Tavern Road in Howell.
Early Spring Blooms

While walking the trails of the county parks, why not look for some early spring blooms? Looking for the first bursts of color is a great way to connect with nature! These flowers can be seen from mid-March thru April in many of the county parks.
