Park land classified as Open Lands is not intended for formal recreation use or park facilities, but may be made available for agriculture or land dependent outdoor recreation uses such as fishing, hiking and horseback riding. Open Lands may serve to protect areas of scenic beauty or natural habitat as well as enhance public health and water quality protection.
