1. Guided Farm Tour
This tour provides a greater understanding of family roles, clothing, furniture, and technology of the 1890s.
Preschool and up 1 hour Group size: 25 MAX
2. Barnyard Adventure
Children tour the farm and participate in a hands-on activity, such as grinding corn or feeding the chickens.
Ages 4 & 5 1 hour Group size: 25 MAX
3. Farmer's Field Day
Tour the farm and pick one of the following activities for your group:
a. Feed Processing- make chicken feed using 1890s technology
b. Daily Chores- change the bedding in the stalls or do field work
c. Children's Games- turn of the century leisure time activities
d. Butter Making (April-June)
e. Ice Cream Making (June-September)
f. Cider Making (October-December)
Grades 1 and up 1 ½ hours Group size: 25 MAX
4. Breakfast on the Farm
Experience farm life in the 1890s - milk the cow, collect eggs, and prepare breakfast on the woodstove.
Ages 9 and up 2 ½ hours Group size: 12 MAX/8 MIN
5. Victorian Ice Cream Social
Play games from the 1890s, crank ice cream, and make your own sundae to enjoy in the Farmhouse dining room.
Ages 8 and up 1 ½ hour Group size: 12 MAX/8 MIN
