A Young Girl's Life on the Farm

(entering grades 4-7)

This camp focuses on the domestic side of farm life in the 1890s. Activities include gathering eggs from our chicken house and vegetables from our garden; cooking and baking in our summer kitchen; churning ice cream by hand; and learning a needlecraft. Campers will also learn about types of clothing worn by young Victorian girls, and will have the chance to try on some garments.
