Summer Chefs

(entering grades 8-10)

In this hands-on course, aspiring chefs will learn valuable skills and recipes from Chef Peter DeCelie. Students will prepare lunch daily. The menu will include Asian, Mexican, Italian and American cuisine, an outdoor BBQ, and daily desserts! Basic cooking skills, knife safety skills, sanitation, and nutrition will be discussed and presented. Students must wear closed toe shoes and bring a basic chef's knife each day. Please Note: Due to the complexity of this program, specialized diets cannot be accommodated.
