Yoga for Baby-Boomers


Want to try yoga but afraid you can't keep up or you are not limber enough? Yoga is for everyone and everyBODY as it creates a state of overall well-being. Join a class set at a pace that is geared for 50's, 60's and up, or for those looking for a slower paced class for individual health reasons. Yoga has been shown to be beneficial for those dealing with arthritis, reducing stiffness that accompanies aging, and for women in the menopausal or post-menopausal years as a way to maintain bone density and reduce various menopausal symptoms. Men also benefit from this form of exercise as a way of opening up and relieving muscular stiffness. Please bring a yoga mat, blanket or large beach towel and bottled water for hydration.
