Meatless Meals

(ages 7-10)

Has your child expressed an interest in a vegetarian diet but doesn't like to eat vegetables? Sometimes the trick to getting your kids to eat healthier is to have them cook it themselves. Something about being part of the process can make children more interested and excited about trying something new. From breakfast through desserts, kids will create a variety of simple to make, nutrient dense foods for the whole family to enjoy. Kitchen safety, knife skills and healthy eating habits will also be on the menu. Please bring an apron to class if you have one. Instructed by: Jessica Jarmer
