Over 526 acres along the Manasquan River have been acquired by the Park System and are now protected in their natural state. This preserved open space provides river access for fishermen and boaters with canoes and other small watercrafts. Please be aware that navigating sections of the river may be challenging and/or require numerous portages due to natural obstructions and fluctuating water levels.
Winter Run Activity Center
The Park System recently opened the Winter Run Activity Center for use as a center for 4-H club activities and events as well as Park System programs. Formerly horse stables and tack room, the interior space was reconfigured and renovated. Updates include a dedicated program space, public restrooms, accessibility improvements, and new roof and siding.
