Are you ready to make a difference while having fun this summer? Join our Sports & Fitness team as a camp counselor! In this role, you will:
- Lead and engage young children in general and theme camp-based activities such as Avengers and Princess Party
- Participate in arts & crafts
- Participate in pool time daily
- Foster a positive and fun environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration among campers and staff.
Employment Dates: June-August 2026
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.; flexible
Pay: $16.10 per hour
Requirements: Must be at least 16 years of age. Must have the ability to work as part of a team with minimal supervision, have excellent communication skills, an encouraging positive attitude, and strong motivational skills while around children and adults. Must have an interest in/or knowledge of the activities we offer.
Camp Counselor at Big Brook Park, Marlboro
Make this a summer to remember! Working with two or more staff members, Camp Counselors facilitate pre-planned activities for groups of children ages 5-14. Activities include unique crafts, impromptu games, various sports, fossil hunting, rock climbing, canoeing, kayaking, camping, pool time, fishing, archery, and more! Every day brings an opportunity for exploring the park, multiplying the fun, and creating happy campers!
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m., alternating weeks available; may include overnights and weekends, June-August
Pay: $16.10
Requirements: Must be 17 years of age or older. Must attend pre-camp training in June. Must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions. Must have the ability to work as part of a team with minimal supervision. Must have excellent communication skills with children and adults.
