The Monmouth County Park System is seeking a fun, outdoor instructor for a variety of coastal camps. The summer staff must have an interest in working outside with children and teens from grades 4 through 12. Day camps are a 5-day enrichment program where kids enjoy a traditional camp experience during the day and are home each night, except for occasional evening activities. The team of naturalists/counselors work together to bring a sense of belonging, stewardship, and adventure to participants and their families.  

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Some evenings & overnight work.

Pay: $15.75  per hour

Requirements: Must be willing to be a part of a team, and work with children and marine life. Candidate should be creative, reliable, flexible, patient, and enthusiastic, with strong oral and written communication skills. Experience working in an informal or formal education setting or coursework in science education is preferred, but not necessary. Minimum age is 18.
