We are seeking dependable and passionate sailors to teach sailing lessons and supervise sailboat rentals. Applicants should love being on the water and enjoy sharing their sailing knowledge with people of all ages. Our fleet is comprised of American (15 ft. with main sail and jib) and Laser Pico (12 ft. with main sail only) sailboats. A hands-on sailing evaluation is required for all applicants.
Hours: June-September; flexible schedule
Pay: Starting at $17.10; depending on experience
Location: Manasquan Reservoir, Howell
Requirements:
- Must be 17 years of age or older
- Must possess basic swimming skills and be comfortable in water
- Ability to teach children and adults in an effective manner
- Good communication and decision-making skills
- US Sailing Level 1 Certification is a plus
