Responsible for planning, organizing, promoting, leading, and supervising sports programs, fitness programs, cooking programs, playgroup programs, art programs, summer camps, and birthday parties for all ages and abilities for the citizens of Monmouth County. This position assists with pool maintenance, scheduling, and supervision during the summer months. This position requires the individual to obtain upon hiring CPR and First Aid/AED certifications, Pool Operator Certification, Pool Director Certification, and possibly a lifeguard certification. The individual must demonstrate basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office, Google Drive, Zoom, and Webex. Must be able to work flexible hours and available to works some evenings and weekends.
Salary is $41,500. A bachelor’s degree from a college or university in the field of recreation, or a closely related field is desired, or an equivalent educational experience preferred. Must have a valid NJ driver’s license. Must satisfy employer paid physical, fingerprint and driver’s license background check. Monmouth County NJ residency preferred. EOE
