Learn the operation, maintenance and history of Waln’s Mill. At the miller’s discretion, the apprentice will eventually be responsible for safely operating the mill during weekend demonstrations and for reserved groups. Participate in the care of grounds and facilities - mowing grass, cleaning buildings and restrooms, collecting trash and recycling, litter picking, and other duties as necessary - when not actively involved with the mill.

Hours: 16-40 hours per week; weekends and holidays required; April-November

Location: Historic Walnford, Upper Freehold

Rate: $13 per hour

Requirements: Minimum age 18; valid driver’s license; and ability to lift 50 pounds
