Responsible for planning, organizing, promoting, leading and supervising sports and fitness programs, camps, trips and events for all ages and abilities for the citizens of Monmouth County. This position is responsible for the recruitment, training, scheduling and supervision of part-time seasonal staff, program employees, and independent contractors as well as purchasing supplies and program equipment, and facilitating payroll.

  
Must be available for evenings and weekends.

  
Salary is $41,500. A bachelor’s degree from a college or university in the field of recreation, sports management, or a closely related field is desired, or an equivalent educational experience preferred. Must have a valid NJ driver’s license. Must satisfy employer paid physical, fingerprint and driver’s license background check. Monmouth County NJ residency preferred.

 
Relevant certifications/licenses preferred but not required, such as Certified Pool Operator (CPO), Pool Director, CPR, First Aid and lifeguard.
