The Park System is hosting its annual fishing derbies for beginners as well as experienced anglers.
This is a fantastic opportunity to get hooked on a new hobby! No idea how to fish? No problem! Our staff will provide free hands-on clinics to show you how to cast and rig as well as answer any questions you may have.
Prizes will be awarded for the longest fish in three different categories. See derby rules, provided upon registration, for more details. A container of worms included with each registration.
Fishing poles will be available for rent for a cost of $5 per pole. Rentals are on a first come, first serve basis; limited equipment availability.
Cost is $28 per family of 4; $9 per person.
