Join a Park System Naturalist at Fisherman’s Cove Conservation Area, Manasquan, for a total lunar eclipse, the fourth and last in a tetrad, a series of four consecutive eclipses in 2014-2015. Check out the early stages of the penumbral eclipse starting at 8:30 p.m., the partial eclipse starting at 9 p.m., or just come to watch the spectacular appearance of the full eclipse starting at 10:11 p.m. and climaxing at 10:45 p.m.! Experts predict this total lunar eclipse will be 100% visible on the East Coast, weather permitting. Make sure to bring a chair or blanket to sit on, and something warm to wear. Stop by the Fort Monmouth Recreation Center, Tinton Falls, and have fun in our climate controlled, indoor gymnasium! We’ll have play equipment available as well as the table games in our lobby. Ages 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times. The cost is $5 per person per day.
