Join a Park System Naturalist as we explore Big Brook Park, Marlboro, in celebration of the Great American Backyard Bird Count. We will start by looking at what winter birds are at our local feeders and will take a small walk to see what birds we can identify along our trails. It's a great way to get started in birding. A limited number of binoculars will be available to borrow if needed. FREE!

Starting a shell collection this year? It’s the best way to get to know the Jersey Shore. Want to know where shells come from? Can’t figure out what you found on the beach? Bring it to the Bayshore Waterfront Park Activity Center, Port Monmouth, and we will tell you all about seashells, how to collect them without harming the environment, and feature an assortment of live mollusks, crustaceans, and cool beach finds and artifacts.
