Scientific Research and Collection Permit

The Natural Resources Department of the Monmouth County Park System issues permits for scientific research and collections within the parks. Please review the permit requirements before applying. Use the link below to apply.
  1. All collections are to be completed in a conservative manner, collecting no more than 20% of plant material (including fruits) from a single population on the day of collection.
  2. End-of-year summary report of activities are to be submitted to Monmouth County Parks natural resource department. Contact information is available on the application linked below.
  3. Permittees carry a signed copy of the permit when conducting activities in the parks.
  4. All activities do not affect public safety, public park usage, or disruptions to park ecosystems.
  5. The Park System reserves the right to revoke permits at any time as they see fit.
