This 21,000 square foot recreation center was acquired from the Fort Monmouth Economic Revitalization Authority (FMERA) and will serve as the Park System's first ever indoor recreation facility. A wide variety of amenities such as classrooms, gymnasium, and game room, makes the Fort Monmouth Recreation Center the perfect location for an array of programs including arts & crafts, sports, exercise classes, and special events.

Discover the Craft Quest Box at the Recreation Center. Come by for the secret code to access the box to collect your craft kit and passport. Once your project is complete, email a picture of it to email@example.com and receive a sticker to place in your passport. When you fill your passport by completing all 12 crafts, you will be sent a Park System drawstring pouch and a certificate of achievement. 2015 Craft Quest - Go Green! Edition
Let’s go green and teach kids the idea of repurposing discarded materials into craft supplies. Each month will be a different craft using recycled items such as cardboard tubes, tissue boxes and bottle caps. Upcoming themes are:

Family Gym Time
Wednesdays, October 15-December 31 from 12:30-2:30 p.m.
(all ages, under 18 with adult)
Enjoy playtime with other families and make friends in a roomy, indoor space for active play and socialization. We’ll have tunnels, gym mats, trampolines, scooters and other play equipment set up for your entertainment. This is an open play format with no instruction provided; parent supervision is required.
The cost is $10 per family per day; cash or check only.

Men's Open Gym Basketball

When you’re looking for a place to shoot hoops where weather is not a factor, our climate controlled gymnasium is available. The cost is $5 per person per day; cash or check only.
Women's Open Gym - Fitness
From 7:30-9 a.m. on Saturdays, September 13-December 20 (no session November 8)
A self-guided, self-paced fitness circuit in our gymnasium including stability balls, hand weights, resistance bands and more! The cost is $5 per person per day; cash or check only.
Teen Open Gym Basketball
Tuesdays, September 16-December 30 from 7-8:30 p.m.
Ages 13-18 are invited to stop by our indoor gymnasium to shoot hoops. The cost is $5 per person per night; cash or check only.

Frightful Family Fun Drop-in
Saturday, October 25 from 1-3 p.m.
(all ages, under 18 with adult) Our haunted classroom will be open for you to drop-in with your little ghouls – and boys, too! Create one project, or all of them, using the whole family’s skills. You’ll walk away with some spooky decorations that everyone helped bring to life, and show that you’re smarter than Dr. Frankenstein.

Saturday, November 15 from 2-4 p.m.
Celebrate with other families as you complete wacky challenges in a bid to win the Golden Drumstick. Stuff the Turkey, Turkey Bowling and Capture the Turkey are just a few tasks you'll complete, culminating in the Turkey Trot down the length of our full court gym. Don a costume if you like and display your best Thanksgiving spirit! We'll also be collecting non-perishable food items to donate to a local food pantry, which just may earn your team a surprise. The cost is $20 per family; cash or check only.
From Route 35 North or South, travel to the light at Tinton Ave., Eatontown. Take Tinton Ave. west for 1 mile and turn left at the light onto Hope Rd. Travel about a half mile on Hope Rd,. past the blinking light at Corregidor Rd. (another 500 feet) to the temporary, flagged entrance driveway on the right (Laboratory/Magill Rd.)
From Parkway North or South, Exit 105. Follow exit to traffic light, and take jughandle right onto Hope Rd. Go straight through light, crossing over Route 36. Follow Hope Rd for about a half mile, past the light at Pinebrook Rd. and RR tracks (another 500 feet) to the temporary, flagged entrance driveway on the left (Laboratory/Magill Rd.)
