This 21,000 square foot recreation center was acquired from the Fort Monmouth Economic Revitalization Authority (FMERA) and will serve as the Park System's first ever indoor recreation facility. A wide variety of amenities such as classrooms, gymnasium, and game room, makes the Fort Monmouth Recreation Center the perfect location for an array of programs including arts & crafts, sports, exercise classes, and special events.

DROP-IN PROGRAMS: 


Ukranian Eggs Craft Quest - Cultural Edition  
Monday-Friday from 9am-4pm   (all ages)
Discover the Craft Quest Box at the Recreation Center. Each month highlights a different country and features a related craft. Come by for the secret code to access the box to collect your craft kit and passport. Once your project is complete, email a picture of it to rcohen@monmouthcountyparks.com and receive a sticker to place in your passport. When you fill your passport by completing all 12 crafts, you will be sent a Park System drawstring pouch and a certificate of achievement. The cost is $10 per family.

Family Game Night 
From 6-8:30pm on Fridays, April 11, April 25, May 9 & May 23  
(all ages, under 18 with adult)
Come with the family and play some games! Board games, table games, and gym games will be available for some good old family interaction. Play something familiar or learn something new, or do both! The cost is $15 per family (2-4 people), per $5 additional person. Cash or check only.

Sip, swap and connect. Enjoy reading? Looking for something different to read and to connect with people with similar interests? Stop by the park and bring an unwanted book(s) and swap it for something new. Don’t have a book to swap? That’s okay, there will be a stash for you to peruse. Light refreshments will be served. FREE!

Armed Forces “Thank You” Day   
Saturday, May 17 from  9am-3pm    
Drop-in to create a thank you card for members of our armed forces. Make a patriotic sundae and join in a sing-along or other activities celebrating those who have served our country.
Cost: $5 per person; cash or check only; veterans attend for free.

Armed Forces Week: Adult Open Gym Basketball     
Monday, May 19 from 7-8:30pm   
Tuesday, May 20 from 1-2:30pm   
Wednesday, May 21 from 8-9:30pm    
Saturday, May 24 from 6:30-8:30pm   
Join us as we honor our heroes, both active and retired - drop-in to shoot some hoops on our full court gym.
Cost: $5 per person; cash or check only. Servicemen and women, past and present, FREE with a valid military ID.

Armed Forces Week: Family Gym Time

Join us as we honor our heroes, both active and retired. Drop-in, enjoy playtime with other families and make friends in a roomy, indoor space for active play and socialization. We’ll have tunnels, gym mats, trampolines, scooters and other play equipment set up for your entertainment. This is an open play format with no instruction provided. Parent supervision is required and Rec Center staff is present if you have questions or need assistance.
Cost: $5 per military family (with a valid military ID); & $10 per non-military family

Drop-in Tuesdays at the Rec Center!   
From 4-5:30pm on Tuesdays from March 11-June 3   
(ages 6-10)
Join Rec Center staff after school for games and activities! Choose from gym games, foosball, air hockey, ping pong and bumper pool. Each week we’ll switch up an extra activity such as arts & crafts, science experiments or board games.
Cost: FREE!

Family Gym Time  
From 12:30-2:30pm on Mondays & Wednesdays from March 10-May 28 (closed May 26)   
(all ages, under 18 with adult)

Monday Night Open Teen Basketball   
From 7-8:30pm on Mondays, March 31, April 7, April 14, April 21, April 28, May 5 & May 12  
(ages 13-18)
Whether you’re on the team and looking for a place to practice or just love the game and want a place to play, drop-in and enjoy our courts.
Cost: $5 per person per night; cash or check only.

Directions:
Route 35 North or South to light at Tinton Avenue, Eatontown. Take Tinton Avenue west to the light at Hope Road. Turn left on Hope Road, continue 2/10ths of a mile, and turn right onto Corregidor Road at the blinking light. Once on Corregidor, the entrance is on the left.
