This 21,000 square foot recreation center was acquired from the Fort Monmouth Economic Revitalization Authority (FMERA) and will serve as the Park System's first ever indoor recreation facility. A wide variety of amenities such as classrooms, gymnasium, and game room, makes the Fort Monmouth Recreation Center the perfect location for an array of programs including arts & crafts, sports, exercise classes, and special events.

Beginning January 1, 2015, open gym time will have the following fees: $5 per person per visit or $30 per monthly pass. With the new monthly pass, you are entitled to come as often as you like during that month. Your color coded card will be punched with each visit and can be picked up at the Rec Center. These cards are valid for: Early Bird Open Gym, Open Gym, Men’s Open Gym Basketball, Men’s Open Basketball 30 & Up, Teen Open Basketball, Lunch Break Basketball, Women’s Open Fitness and Teen Open Fitness. Stop by to have fun in our climate controlled, indoor gymnasium! We’ll have play equipment available as well as the table games in our lobby. Ages 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times. The cost is $5 per person per day, or purchase a monthly pass for $30. Open Gym Schedule - January (Updated)

Discover the Craft Quest Box at the Recreation Center. Come by for the secret code to access the box to collect your craft kit and passport. Once your project is complete, email a picture of it to firstname.lastname@example.org and receive a sticker to place in your passport. When you fill your passport by completing all 12 crafts, you will be sent a Park System drawstring pouch and a certificate of achievement. 2015 Craft Quest - Go Green! Edition
Let’s go green and teach kids the idea of repurposing discarded materials into craft supplies. Each month will be a different craft using recycled items such as cardboard tubes, tissue boxes and bottle caps. Upcoming themes are:

Family Gym Time
Wednesdays, January 7-February 25 from 12:30-2:30 p.m.
(all ages, under 18 with adult)
Enjoy playtime with other families and make friends in a roomy, indoor space for active play and socialization. We’ll have tunnels, gym mats, trampolines, scooters and other play equipment set up for your entertainment. This is an open play format with no instruction provided; parent supervision is required. The cost is $10 per family per day; cash or check only.

Men's Open Gym Basketball
From 8-10 a.m. on Sundays
When you’re looking for a place to shoot hoops where weather is not a factor, our climate controlled gymnasium is available. The cost is $5 per person per day; cash or check only.
Women's Open Gym - Fitness
Saturdays, December 27-February 28
A self-guided, self-paced fitness circuit in our gymnasium including stability balls, hand weights, resistance bands and more! The cost is $5 per person per day; cash or check only.
Teen Open Gym Basketball
Wednesdays, January 7-March 25 from 3-4:30 p.m.
Ages 13-18 are invited to stop by our indoor gymnasium to shoot hoops. The cost is $5 per person per night; cash or check only.
Teen Open Gym Fitness
Tuesdays, January 6-February 24 from 7-8:30 p.m.
Ages 13-18 are invited to try our informal fitness circuit. We'll have stability balls, hand weights, resistance bands and more! The cost is $5 per person per night; cash or check only.
Route 35 North or South to light at Tinton Avenue, Eatontown. Take Tinton Avenue west to the light at Hope Road. Turn left on Hope Road, continue 2/10ths of a mile, and turn right at the traffic light onto Corregidor Road. Entrance is on the left.
From Parkway North or South, Exit 105. Follow exit to traffic light, and take jughandle right onto Hope Rd. Go straight through light, crossing over Route 36. Follow Hope Rd for about a half mile, past the light at Pinebrook Rd. and over RR tracks. Turn left at the next traffic light onto Corregidor Road. Entrance is on left.
