
Program Assistant for Special Needs Day Program (Adults)
Responsible for assisting in the planning of and leading a variety of daily activities with assigned participants such as games, current events, arts and crafts, cooking, sports, excursions, and special events. Applicant must be comfortable working with participants of all functional levels. Experience working with individuals with special needs preferred. Several hours of paid online training are required prior to working with participants.
Hours: 18-25 hours/week, September-June (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays)
Pay: Depends on experience and qualifications
Requirements: Must be 19 years or older; over 21 preferred
Inclusion Coach
Provide support to individuals with special needs so they may participate with their non-disabled peers in a variety of Park System programs. Support would be in the form of a personal aide, behavior management and/or activity adaptations and modifications. Applicant must have experience working with children with special needs. Applicant must be able to self-transport as locations may vary.
Hours: vary, September-June
