Historic Site Interpreter - Historic Walnford

Welcome and orient visitors to Historic Walnford. Learn about and share the history of Walnford with visitors. Help with special events, programs, and group tours. Assist with weekend and reserved milling demonstrations and maintenance of historic gristmill.
  
Assist with maintenance of the historic district. Tasks include mowing grass, trimming, planting, pruning, cleaning buildings and restrooms, collecting trash and recycling, litter picking, assisting park visitors, general care of grounds and facilities, and other duties as necessary.

 

Hours: 9-month position; April- December; up to 40 hours per week; weekends and holidays required; 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
  
Pay: $15.75 per hour
  
Location: Historic Walnford, Upper Freehold
   
Requirements: Must be at least 17 years of age with valid NJ driver's license; Must have excellent communication skills and be comfortable interacting with individuals and large groups. Must be comfortable working outdoors.
