Full-Time Landscape Architect for the Acquisition & Design Department of the Monmouth County Park System, Lincroft, New Jersey. Working under the direction of the Principal Engineer in the Design team, the Landscape Architect will be responsible for design and development of site analyses, concept designs, design programs, site plans, cost estimates, grading plans, dimension plans, planting plans, construction details and technical specifications for a variety of park improvement projects, recreational facilities and other related duties as required.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in landscape architecture, plus two (2) years minimum of related experience in landscape design or working directly under the supervision of a licensed landscape architect. A Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture or related field may be substituted for the required experience.
- Strong organizational skills, communication skills, writing skills, and a good knowledge of plant material native to the northeast region are essential.
- Proficiency with Autodesk AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and ESRI ArcGIS.
- Driver’s license valid in New Jersey to perform essential duties of the position.
Salary: $53,500 plus full benefits.
