A celebration of all things water, visitors will be able to enjoy many coastal activities, including:

Kayaking • Fishing* • Sailing
Sand Castle Building • Kite Flying • Crabbing*
 Seining • Shelling • Sand Casting
Children’s Crafts • Children's Art Show •  Selfie Scavenger Hunt
Naturalist Activities • Facepainting (fee) • And Much More!

Most activities are free but some may have a fee.  

*Fishing and Crabbing on the pier will require passes to assure the pier is not overcrowded and that participants get an equal amount of time. Fishing and crabbing sessions will occur every half hour starting at 11 a.m. with the final session beginning at 4:30 p.m. Those wishing to participate can sign up with our staff 20 minutes before their desired starting time (first come, first served).

Parking will be available at the Belford Ferry Terminal. Shuttle buses will take visitors to and from Bayshore Waterfront Park.

Directions to the Belford Ferry Terminal 

From Garden State Parkway (North or South):   
Take the Garden State Parkway to exit 117 to Route 36 East. Follow Route 36 for  approximately 6 miles.  Follow LOCAL directions below.

From Route 36 East:  
Follow Route 36 into the town of Belford. Take the jug handle for Main Street on the  right and cross over Route 36 heading towards the ocean. Follow Main Street to end and  make a right. Go over the small bridge and follow the road to the ferry terminal. 

From Route 36 West:  
Follow Route 36 into the town of Belford. Make a right onto Main Street. Follow  Main Street to the end and make a right. Go over small bridge and follow the road  to the ferry terminal.
