Are you passionate about art and sharing your expertise with pre-teens?
In this role, you will:
- Lead and engage pre-teen in traditional day camp activities.
- Support the professional art instructor and guide and encourage campers as they learn various art techniques in 3D Drawing and Cartooning.
- Supervise and actively participate in all daily camp activities, including games and all art exercises, e.g., creating storyboards, cartoon characters and stop action.
- Foster a supportive and collaborative environment where campers can express themselves and grow as artists.
Must have a strong knowledge of basic art terms, art supplies, and technology. Other desired qualities - enthusiasm, a willingness to learn, strong organizational habits, good time management skills, strong communication skills, initiative, and a passion for working with and teaching children.
Hours: Monday – Friday , 8:30 a.m.– 4 p.m.
Pay: $16.10 per hour
Requirements: Must be 17 or older
