Join a vibrant team at our beautiful outdoor facility! Manage lifeguard shifts and schedule drills as needed. Oversee daily reports and recordkeeping. Work with full-time staff to maintain water balance in the pool and inspect the facility for safety and cleanliness at all times. Greet program participants, campers, and various groups when they arrive at the pool facility; professionally and effectively communicate and enforce pool rules & regulations.
Hours: 20-40 hours per week, June-August, may include evenings and weekends
Pay: starting pay $19 per hour; depending on experience

Requirements: Experience working in a similar supervisory role at a commercial pool or recreation facility preferred. Should be up to date with certifications for CPO/Lifeguard/First Aid/CPR/AED, or enrolled in class. Must be 21 years of age or older with a valid NJ driver’s license. Must be comfortable working both indoors and outdoors. Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision. Must have excellent communication and organizational skills. Must be able to provide adequate support to summer staff and full-time staff.
