Join Park System Naturalists for a free drop-in to explore a freshwater pond. We’ll look for basking turtles, hopping frogs, hunting herons, splashing fish, and anything else that catches our eye. We will also discover the unique life lying beneath the water in a freshwater pond.

Please note:
  • Participants should bring closed-toe shoes (no flip-flops).
  • We will meet outside the Visitor Center near the picnic tables.
  • The program will be canceled during inclement weather. Parents/guardians are required to stay with and supervise their children.
